Delete Account

This page explains how to delete your Movier account and the data associated with it. You can do this yourself inside the app, or request it by email if you no longer have access to the app.

1. Delete your account in the app

Open the Movier app and sign in.
Go to Profile, then open Settings (gear icon).
Tap “Delete My Account” and confirm.
Your account and associated data are removed immediately.

2. No longer have the app?

If you can’t access the app, email us at support@movierapp.com from the address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to verify ownership before deleting.

3. What gets deleted

Your account and sign-in identifiers (email, name, Google/Apple id).
Your profile photo and bio.
Your taste preferences, swipes, watchlist and ratings.
Your messages, connections and social activity.

4. Data retention

We delete your data without undue delay, and within 30 days at the latest.

We may keep a minimal record only where required by law (e.g. transaction/purchase records) or to prevent fraud and abuse; such data is not used for any other purpose.
